Why we started Smart Engineering Services.
We started Smart Engineering Services to solve the fragmentation problem. Too many South Florida projects stall because civil, structural, and management teams aren't speaking the same language. We built a single point of responsibility — one firm where technical precision meets proactive, streamlined management.
Our background
From construction to engineering.
The parent company — Smart Engineering Services Co — has been a Certified Roofing Contractor (FL #) in South Florida for over 20 years. The engineering arm grew out of that field experience.
Most engineering firms hire designers who’ve never been on a real job site. Our designers came up through job sites. We’ve climbed the roofs, walked the concrete pours, and argued with the inspectors at the counter. That’s why our plans tend to come back from contractors with fewer RFIs — we design for what can actually be built, not just what looks good on paper.

A personal note.
Growing up in South Florida, I've seen how vital reliable, resilient infrastructure is to our community's safety and growth. My passion isn't just in engineering — it's in making sure the buildings and sites we develop today stand the test of time for the next generation of Floridians.

We're a team that takes responsibility for the entire delivery — from the first site assessment to the final certificate of occupancy.
